An apology and the biggest psychedelic research stories of 2024

Hello Reader,

First, I want to apologize for any confusion caused by my recent course review emails. Due to an error in how I set up the filters, some of you received review requests for courses you haven’t taken. I’m sorry for cluttering your inbox - I know how frustrating that can be. I’ve fixed the issue and am improving my email processes to prevent this from happening again.

Now, I’m excited to share something I think you’ll find valuable. I’ve just published the first of a two-part series examining the most significant psychedelic research developments of 2024. Part 1 covers clinical research, including:

  • Safety profile for MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD
  • New insights into the influence of music on ketamine’s effectiveness for treatment-resistant depression
  • Promising results from psilocybin studies for depression and chronic pain

Stay tuned next week for Part 2, where I’ll explore fascinating non-clinical research, including studies on brain organization, emotional learning, and the entourage effect.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of evidence-based psychedelic education.

With gratitude,

Peter H Addy, PhD

P.S. Part 2 will be published next Thursday - make sure you’re following our blog so you don’t miss it!
