For when they ask "How do I start a practice?"

Hello Reader,

With graduation season coming up, I'm already getting practice setup questions from supervisees. So I put together the guide I wish I'd had seven years ago when I was starting out.

Here's what prompted this: One of my supervisees registered their LLC using their home address. They didn't know it becomes public record. A client showed up at their house for the first session, thinking that was the office. That could have gone so much worse.

The guide walks through:

  • How to keep your address private when forming an LLC
  • Which services actually provide HIPAA-compliant email with BAAs
  • The right order for EIN, bank accounts, NPI (this trips everyone up)
  • What you actually need vs what you can skip
  • Real timelines based on actual processing times

I included affiliate links for the services I use and trust, along with explanations of why I chose each one. The guide comes with a 14-day email sequence to help with implementation.

It might save some new grads from the overwhelming confusion we all remember.

Peter

P.S. I've been supervising for a few years now, and the business setup questions are always the hardest to answer comprehensively. This guide puts it all in one place.
