Your client disclosed. You had thirty seconds. Here's what to do.

Hello Reader,

The course I mentioned last week is open! Here's everything you need to decide.

Psychedelics and the Therapeutic Frame: Foundations for Licensed Clinicians is a 3-CE-hour course for licensed mental health professionals who want a grounded clinical foundation in psychedelic-informed practice without committing to a year-long facilitation track. It covers pharmacology, scope of practice, first-contact skills, documentation, and ethics. It's built for the practice you're already running.

An estimated eight million Americans used psilocybin in the past year. Most won't disclose to the clinician they're currently seeing, and when they do, the quality of that first response determines whether the clinical conversation continues at all. This course teaches the pharmacology of major psychedelics at the level of clinical relevance (what you need for an informed conversation with a client, not a pharmacokinetics lecture), the scope-of-practice boundaries in current legal frameworks, including Oregon Measure 109, and the first-contact sequence: how to receive a disclosure, take a basic history, and run a targeted safety screen. Documentation and ethics are woven throughout.

What this course is not: a recruitment pitch for becoming a psychedelic therapist, a prerequisite for a facilitation certification, or a course that assumes you're moving toward psychedelic-assisted practice. It assumes only that your clients live in a world where psychedelic use is increasingly common, and that you want to respond competently when it comes up, rather than miss the moment or shut it down.

NBCC-approved for 3 CE hours. It meets Oregon Psilocybin Services curriculum requirements for Safety, Ethics, Law, and Responsibilities.

The price is $137.

P.S. The First-Contact Language Guide I shared last week is one piece of this course. If you found it useful, the full framework is here.
